The
scene depicts the 760 foot long Romeo Pier, in Half Moon Bay,
CA which was built in 1944.
Originally built by
Joseph Romeo for his commercial fishing fleet. Sardines, tuna
and crab were processed
on this pier until the
late 1950's. Later it was used to process fish fertilizer and
then abandoned.
This scene was taken from an early
2018 Google Earth, street view. The pier was demolished in the
summer of 2018.
